Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut passed away yesterday. I read Slaughterhouse-Five several years ago when I learned that he was a great author that was alive in my time. While it was long enough ago that I don’t recall the storyline of the book, I do remember liking it.
This morning on NPR they gave one of his quotes that I really like.
Smoking is a fairly sure, fairly honorable form of suicide.
That goes quite nicely with one of my recent posts. Dark yet clever, Vonnegut was great. He’ll be missed.
