Spring 2007

My spring semester starts in just a couple of days. The Christmas break has been a full month long, but sheesh has it gone by quickly! A week in Colorado, a week with family, a little bit of work and -poof-, the time is gone.

This coming semester I’ll be taking 13 hours of coursework, and I have to say that I’m looking forward to the material. At this point I’ve completed all of my prerequisites and “weeder” courses, so I’m getting to study the material that I came for. Here’s what I’ll be taking:

• a fluid mechanics lab
• Propulsion (a branch of thermodynamics focusing on aircraft engines)
• Spacecraft Dynamics (edited Jan 28, 2007)
  
• Structural Dynamics (the study of vibration within structures)
• Aerospace Materials
• Organizational Behavior and Administration (this is a course in the business college)

Propulsion, Spacecraft Dynamics and Organizational Behavior and Administration are the courses that I’m most looking forward to. Honestly, I guess all of this material looks good to me. The aerospace courses are why I’m here, I want to learn this stuff. And I haven’t had a business course ever, so that one should be fun, too. I hope to be a lot smarter by May!
