Wee Hours
Its the wee hours. I’ve just finished some homework that’s due tomorrow. And I also have a test tomorrow that I need to spend an hour or two preparing for. So I’m going to be getting up early so I can get to campus.
This has been my life for the past two weeks. I’m up late and up early almost every day. I say all of this because I promised a long entry on theology sometime soon. The thoughts are still rattling around in my head, but I haven’t had time to put them into words. I probably won’t have time for a while.
The good news is that all of this effort is paying off. I’m doing much better than I have in previous semesters, and I actually understand the material that I’m studying. This is very cool, because I’m studying some really cool stuff. And its motivating, because I’m starting to apply all of the math that I’ve learned. And its exhausting, because it means being up until 1 or 2 almost every night to get all of my work done.
I’m listening to Pink Floyd. I loaded a bunch of old CD’s on my iPod, and its been really fun to listen to quality classic rock.

Just wanted to give you a shout out from the trenches. Learning is so worth the effort. keep it up! you can do it! At least this is what I keep telling myself.

Thanks for the encouragement. Sometimes school is tough, and sometimes its not, but I’m in it for the long haul either way. I want to be a rocket scientist. Either that, or a truck driver, I can’t decide. But I’m getting the rocket science degree either way.
ps – the part about being a truck driver was a joke.
